Frank Petro

Frank Petro, a founding partner of the firm, leads the Workers’ Compensation Department in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. For over 45 years, he has dedicated his practice exclusively to handling workers’ compensation cases. His expertise is recognized by the New Jersey Supreme Court, which has certified him as a Workers’ Compensation Law Attorney, a certification held by only 18 lawyers in the state since its introduction in 1998.

For 27 consecutive years, Mr. Petro has been listed in Best Lawyers in America® for workers’ compensation, a rare honor shared by only 14 lawyers nationwide. He is one of four attorneys in New Jersey to receive this recognition, and uniquely, the only one to achieve it for 27 years in a row. Additionally, Mr. Petro has been named to the New Jersey Super Lawyer® list annually since 2005, a distinction awarded to no more than five percent of the state's attorneys.

His professional excellence is further acknowledged by an “AV” rating from Martindale-Hubbell, highlighting his status as a preeminent lawyer as voted by peers. Mr. Petro has also served as one of only three Presidents of The Justice James H. Coleman, Jr. New Jersey Workers’ Compensation American Inn of Court, a leading association of approximately 150 workers’ compensation judges and lawyers.

Nationally, Mr. Petro was one of 38 Trustees for the American Inns of Court Foundation, a premier organization advocating for legal excellence and ethics among U.S. judges and lawyers. From 2008 to 2012, he served as National Treasurer of the foundation, underscoring his commitment to advancing the legal profession.
