About Josh Reinitz
Josh Reinitz serves as Of Counsel at the Aretsky Law Group. Before this, he was a partner at Iacullo Martino & Reinitz, LLC in Nutley. He earned his degrees from Rutgers College and Rutgers School of Law – Newark.
After completing his education, Josh clerked for Hon. Eugene H Austin, J.S.C. in Bergen County. He is licensed to practice law in both State and Federal Courts throughout New Jersey. His practice focuses on defending clients in DWI and criminal or quasi-criminal cases in Municipal and Superior Courts statewide.
In 2019, Josh was recognized as the Municipal Court Practitioner of the Year by his peers at the State Bar. He is in his second term as an elected Trustee of the New Jersey State Bar Association and has chaired the Municipal Court Practice Section. Notably, he was one of the first 21 attorneys in New Jersey to be certified by the New Jersey Supreme Court as a Municipal Court Trial Attorney, and he currently chairs the Certification Committee for Municipal Court Attorneys.
In 2016, Josh received the New Leader of the Bar Award from the New Jersey Law Journal, highlighting the top attorneys under 40 in the state. He was appointed by Chief Justice Rabner to the Supreme Court’s Municipal Court Practice Committee and the Supreme Court’s Working Group on Municipal Court Reform.
Josh is actively involved with the New Jersey State Bar Association’s Standing Committee on Legislation & Judicial Administration Committee and has served as Amicus counsel in significant municipal court matters. His experience includes roles as both a Municipal Prosecutor and a Municipal Public Defender. He was a Fellow in the New Jersey State Bar Association Leadership Academy.
Additionally, he has been a member of the Office of Attorney Ethics Fee Arbitration Committee for District V-C. Josh is also serving his second term as Deputy Mayor in the Borough of Fair Lawn.
