Susan Petro

Susan Petro, a founding partner and the current managing partner at Petro Cohen, P.C., brings over 30 years of expertise in personal injury litigation. Fluent in both English and Spanish, she has made significant contributions to the legal community. Susan served as the president of the Atlantic County Bar Association and was a master at the Vincent S. Haneman American Inn of Court for nine years.

Susan holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Rutgers University and earned her law degree from Rutgers University School of Law. As a member of Phi Beta Kappa, she has participated in various boards and committees throughout her career. Her notable memberships include the New Jersey Supreme Court Committee on the Unauthorized Practice of Law (2000-2008), NJ State Bar Association (1985-present), and the Atlantic County Bar Association (1987-present), where she also served as president from 1998-1999.

Additionally, Susan was a member of the Judicial Selection Committee of the Atlantic County Bar Association (1995-2000) and served as a barrister with the Vincent S. Haneman Inn of Court, becoming an Executive Board Counselor from 2002 to 2003. She was named "Best of The (Atlantic City) Press" Attorney in 2007 and is currently the president of the Galloway Township Education Foundation.

Residing in Galloway Township with her husband, Frank, Susan is dedicated to her community.
