Matthew J. Dorry

Matthew J. Dorry earned his Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from Rutgers University, where he was actively involved with the Domestic Violence Agency of Middlesex County, serving as a court advocate in domestic violence hearings. Graduating Cum Laude, he went on to obtain his J.D. from Widener University School of Law in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, where he took part in two mock trial competitions with the Trial Advocacy Honor Society. His commitment to community service was recognized during his law school years.

Mr. Dorry is licensed to practice law in the States of New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Before joining the Law Offices of Jonathan F. Marshall, he served as a Municipal Prosecutor for approximately twenty municipalities over three years. In this role, he managed thousands of cases involving drunk driving, criminal, traffic, and municipal ordinance issues.

His current practice focuses on criminal defense, drink driving, and restraining order matters. Mr. Dorry has received specialized training in prosecuting alcohol and drug-related drunk driving offenses, provided by the New Jersey Attorney General's Office and New Jersey State Police.

Before joining his current firm, Mr. Dorry participated in numerous trials as a prosecutor and collaborated with the Monmouth and Ocean County Prosecutor's Office on criminal and drunk driving cases.
