Michael Cirigliano

Michael E. Cirigliano launched his legal career in 2011 at the Richmond County District Attorney’s Office. As a prosecutor, he honed his trial skills and gained a deep understanding of criminal law and procedure. During his time there, he managed thousands of Driving While Intoxicated prosecutions, among other cases. In 2015, he left the DA’s Office to co-found Rosas & Cirigliano.

At Rosas & Cirigliano, Mr. Cirigliano defends clients against charges ranging from driving while intoxicated and domestic violence to serious sex offenses and homicide. His reputation in the legal community is built on his sharp intellect and effective advocacy.

Mr. Cirigliano also provides representation for businesses and individuals in administrative tribunals, such as the City of New York Business Integrity Commission and the New York State Department of Labor. In these quasi-criminal proceedings, he leverages his advocacy skills and legal knowledge to help clients maintain their professional licenses and privileges.

Graduating summa cum laude from New York Law School, Mr. Cirigliano was an editor on the Law Review. As an alumnus, he shares his expertise by coaching the competitive mock trial team. He is actively involved with the Richmond County Bar Association, New York State Bar Association, and the New York State Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.
