Thomas Huth

Attorney Thomas Huth leverages more than three decades of experience in criminal law, having served as a New Jersey county prosecutor, to his current role in criminal defense at the Law Offices of Jonathan F. Marshall. Since joining the firm in 2018, he has been dedicated to defending clients facing serious charges.

Prior to his current position, Mr. Huth spent his entire career in New Jersey criminal law as a prosecutor in Essex and Monmouth counties. He has tried hundreds of criminal cases to verdict and has held significant supervisory roles, including Director of the Major Crimes Bureau. His responsibilities included training, mentoring, and building strong professional relationships within the prosecutorial offices.

Mr. Huth's decision to join the Law Offices of Jonathan F. Marshall marked a new chapter in his career. He states, “I’ve spent my entire career involved in criminal litigation, and based upon my vast trial and investigative experience, it was a natural progression for me to continue my work in this area on the defense side. I like to engage with people and I like to help them in their time of need, whether they are crime victims or accused of crimes.”

His practice is concentrated on Superior Court cases involving serious criminal charges such as homicides, auto fatalities, robberies, white-collar defense, sexual assault, and narcotics. Mr. Huth applies his extensive prosecutorial background to effectively advocate for his clients.
