John P. Paone, Jr.

John P. Paone, Jr. is a distinguished Certified Matrimonial Law Attorney and the founder and senior partner of his firm. With a career spanning over four decades, Mr. Paone has dedicated his practice to family law, child custody, and divorce, assisting hundreds of families through complex legal processes.

Mr. Paone is recognized as a Diplomate of the American College of Family Trial Attorneys, an exclusive group of the top 100 divorce attorneys in the United States. His expertise has been acknowledged by the New Jersey Supreme Court, which has appointed him to various committees focused on divorce and family law.

In leadership roles, Mr. Paone has served as the past Chair of the New Jersey Bar Association Family Law Section and as the Past President of both the Middlesex County Bar Association and the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers New Jersey Chapter. Additionally, he has been the Chair of the Supreme Court Board on Attorney Certification and a member of the Supreme Court Board on Continuing Legal Education.

Locally, Mr. Paone is involved with the Monmouth, Middlesex, and New Jersey bar associations. He was the 2018-2019 Co-Chair of the Monmouth Bar Association Family Law Committee. Nationally, he contributes to the American Bar Association, Family Law section.
