Kristen Epifania

Kristen N. Epifania is a distinguished attorney with extensive experience in criminal defense and family law. After graduating, Kristen refined her legal skills at a leading criminal defense firm in Manhattan, where she represented clients in both misdemeanor and felony cases across New York City, as well as in family court. Her career progressed as a trial attorney at the Monmouth County Public Defender’s Office in New Jersey, where she adeptly managed cases involving assault, domestic violence, theft, narcotics, and more. Kristen later transitioned back to private practice, continuing her defense work and assisting clients through divorce proceedings.

During her law school tenure, she gained valuable prosecutorial experience at the Kings County District Attorney’s Office in the Crimes Against Children bureau, working on prosecutions related to sex crimes, assault, and homicides. Additionally, she served at the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of New York, addressing complex immigration issues intersecting with criminal law. These experiences have equipped her with a comprehensive understanding of criminal case strategies and negotiations.
