Susan Schroeder Clark

Susan Schroeder Clark boasts an extensive legal career spanning more than 25 years, with a strong foundation in litigation. Her career began in 1994 at the Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office, where she initially worked in the Appellate section and progressed to become a Trial Team Leader. During her tenure, she advocated for victims' rights, handling over 70 jury trials and numerous bench trials, and was instrumental in civilly committing a serial sex offender after the completion of his prison sentence.

In December 2007, Ms. Clark co-founded Clark & Clark, where she adeptly defended a variety of criminal cases and represented children in expulsion hearings. Her experience as a team leader involved supervising and training other Assistant Prosecutors, further honing her leadership skills.

In 2015, Ms. Clark shifted her focus to founding a law firm dedicated to assisting children with special needs. Her practice areas include special education law, out-of-district placements, guardianship petitions, expulsion hearings, and special needs planning. She is deeply committed to advocating for the rights of special needs families, channeling her passion into helping children and their families navigate complex legal challenges.
