Kristofher Beralo

Kristofher Beralo, a founding member of Beralo & Michael, grew up in Jersey City and attended Marist High School in Bayonne, NJ. He joined the military as an Infantry soldier and served in the Middle East. During his service, he received numerous commendations and attended specialized schools, including Air Assault, Army Combatives, and Drill Sergeant School. As a Platoon Sergeant for the 98th Division, he instructed future leaders to become Drill Sergeants. Currently, he is a commissioned officer in the 4th LOD JAG unit as a Judge Advocate General.

After graduating from Rutgers-Newark in 2012, Mr. Beralo pursued legal studies at Loyola-New Orleans College of Law. During law school, he interned with notable New Orleans attorneys Jason R. Williams and Nandi Campbell and represented clients in Immigration Court as a third-year law student. He earned his JD and MBA in 2016.

Returning to New Jersey, Mr. Beralo worked with James R. Lisa and Peter Willis, successfully trying cases across various counties in both Municipal and Superior Courts. He frequently appears in Municipal and Superior Courts in Hudson, Bergen, Somerset, and Monmouth Counties. He has also represented clients in the New Jersey Appellate Division and Federal Court.

Mr. Beralo values communication and honesty as essential elements of a successful attorney-client relationship. He is known for his straightforward approach and serves as the Bergenfield Municipal Court Public Defender. His dedication to his clients and his legal acumen make him a respected advocate.
