Lee Carey Kindlon

Lee Carey Kindlon, founding partner of the Kindlon Law Firm, is renowned for his representation in high-profile criminal cases in Albany, New York. Drawing from his courtroom experiences, he adeptly serves clients across various legal domains. His civil litigation expertise encompasses contracts, fraud, civil rights violations, and negligence cases. Lee has effectively resolved numerous high-value personal injury and wrongful death claims.

A former Marine Corps Judge Advocate, Lee served actively for three and a half years. Initially working in Legal Assistance, he later became the prosecutor at Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune. In September 2005, he deployed to Iraq as a Battalion Judge Advocate, stationed in Fallujah until April 2006. Currently a Lieutenant Colonel, he continues to serve in the Marine Corps Reserve as the Reserve Officer in Charge of Appellate Defense for the Navy-Marine Corps Court of Appeals.

Admitted to practice in New York State in December 2002 and the District of Columbia in January 2008, Lee is also authorized to practice in the United States District Courts for the Northern and Western Districts of New York, the Second Circuit Court of Appeals, and is certified for all military courts.

Nationally recognized as a speaker, Lee addresses topics on evidence, civil rights, and gun laws. He has engaged with audiences across the state on issues concerning veterans in the criminal justice system. Additionally, Lee has taught service members globally about the Laws of Armed Conflict, the Geneva Conventions, and shared insights from his experience as a Judge Advocate.
