Britt N. Burner

Britt N. Burner, Esq., serves as the Managing Partner at Burner Prudenti Law, a prominent women-owned firm dedicated to trust & estates and elder law. Since joining the firm in March 2014, Britt has been instrumental in establishing the firm’s Manhattan office, concentrating her legal practice on elder law and estate planning.

Britt has earned a reputation as a leading attorney in elder law and estate planning within the New York area. She has been recognized in the 2025 and 2024 Best Lawyer rankings for Elder Law and Trusts & Estates in Manhattan. Additionally, in 2024, Britt was honored as a Super Lawyer in Elder Law by Super Lawyers, a prestigious rating service by Thomson Reuters, which identifies outstanding lawyers through a rigorous selection process involving peer recognition and professional achievement. Previously, she was acknowledged as a Rising Star Attorney for six consecutive years by the same publication.

Britt is actively involved in the elder law community. She previously held the role of immediate past-Chair for the New York City Bar Association Committee on the Legal Problems of the Aging and currently serves as the Chair of the Elder Law and Special Needs section of the New York State Bar Association.
