Kathryn Donnelly

Kathryn Donnelly is of counsel at Levene Gouldin & Thompson, LLP, where she focuses on medical malpractice and labor and employment law. Her expertise includes advising both employers and employees on employment agreements, manuals, and policies. Kathryn is skilled in handling litigation matters, including mediation, arbitration, trials, appeals, and administrative hearings.

Before joining Levene Gouldin & Thompson, Kathryn concentrated on military law. She adeptly managed cases involving Article 15s, letters of reprimand, courts-martial, and security clearance issues. Her experience extends to defending discrimination complaints before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.

Kathryn's previous role as a Special Assistant United States Attorney in the District of Columbia involved litigating federal civil cases against the Department of Defense. Her work covered areas such as medical malpractice and federal employment, as well as petitions before the Army and Navy Boards for Correction of Records.

Kathryn's legal career began at the United States Military Academy at West Point, where she was commissioned as a military intelligence officer. She later served as trial counsel in the 3rd Infantry Division, prosecuting courts-martial and leading dozens of criminal cases. Her tenure included roles as senior legal officer at Camp Humphreys in the Republic of Korea and as a Trial Defense Counsel, defending soldiers in various military legal proceedings. In Germany, she served as deputy judge staff advocate in the 7th Joint Multinational Training Command, supervising a 90-person legal team and developing a trial advocacy program for military prosecutors.
