Clinton Mikel

Clinton Mikel has been a Partner at The Health Law Partners since 2012. He earned his law degree from the University of Michigan Law School and completed his undergraduate studies at Cornell University. Mr. Mikel collaborates with a diverse array of healthcare providers, entrepreneurs, and tech companies, offering insights into industry challenges and workflows.

His expertise encompasses a wide range of areas, including regulatory, compliance, transactional, and litigation matters. He is particularly focused on fraud and abuse issues such as Stark and Anti-Kickback laws, telehealth and telemedicine, HIPAA, privacy and security laws, and defending against government investigations and false claim allegations.

Mr. Mikel's strategic thinking and comprehensive knowledge have established him as a nationally recognized thought leader. His work simplifies the complexities and risks of the healthcare industry for his clients.

He is a recipient of the Burton Award for Distinguished Legal Writing and has been featured in the New York Times, Politico, and C-SPAN. As an active speaker, Mr. Mikel frequently presents on healthcare topics nationwide. He has served as a three-term chair of the ABA's eHealth, Privacy, and Security Interest Group and chaired the Stark and Anti-Kickback Law Toolkit for the ABA. He continues to hold significant leadership roles within the ABA's health law sector.
