Scott L. Silver

Scott L. Silver has dedicated his legal career to the practice of securities and financial services law. He focuses on securities arbitration, litigation, and plaintiff-side class action litigation, advocating for individual investors and institutions against brokerage firms, investment advisors, commodities firms, hedge funds, and more. Additionally, Scott routinely acts as counsel for receivers and trustees in efforts to recover investor losses from Ponzi schemes.

Scott possesses extensive arbitration experience with the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), the National Futures Association (NFA), and the American Arbitration Association (AAA). His efforts have resulted in the recovery of millions of dollars for wronged investors through both arbitration and court proceedings. He has represented clients not only across the United States but also in regions such as Europe, South America, and Israel.

As a frequent lecturer and author, Scott shares his expertise on securities and investment fraud. He has delivered lectures at the University of Miami School of Law, Albany Law School’s Securities Arbitration Clinic, and numerous securities arbitration seminars, bar conferences, and industry meetings. Scott regularly contributes to various publications and has written extensively on topics related to investors and the arbitration process. Notably, in 2011, he authored a primer on SEC Whistleblower incentives, published in the PIABA Bar Journal.
