John Chul-joon Kim

John C. Kim, born in Seoul, South Korea, moved to the United States in 1971 at the age of five. Raised in Baltimore, Maryland by entrepreneurial parents, he proudly embraces his Korean and American heritage. With nearly 20 years of legal experience, Mr. Kim has been practicing in New York City since 1999, covering all boroughs and Federal Courts in New Jersey.

In 2005, Mr. Kim established his own firm, which has successfully handled thousands of cases for both individuals and businesses. These include matters related to divorce, immigration, real estate, bankruptcy, debt negotiation, and business restructuring. The firm, in collaboration with trusted of counsel, also manages complex medical malpractice and personal injury cases.

Mr. Kim earned his J.D. from Boston University School of Law, where he contributed as an editor of the APALSA News. He also holds a B.A. in English Literature and Japanese Language from Boston University's College of Liberal Arts.

As a member of the Brooklyn Bar Association and the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys (NACBA), Mr. Kim is admitted to the State Bar of New York and the U.S. District Court for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.

Residing in Brooklyn for over 15 years, Mr. Kim is dedicated to serving the diverse communities of New York City, particularly in Brooklyn and Queens. His commitment to providing competent and compassionate legal representation is inspired by his own immigrant background.
