Li Weng

Li Weng is a founding partner at Rockville Law Group LLC, where she excels in estate planning, family law, IPO, and immigration. She has over 12 years of experience in estate planning, anticorruption, trade matters, IPO, SPAC, OTC, immigration, and transnational practice. Li has advised multinational companies on SEC investigations concerning potential violations of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act by subsidiaries. She has also represented clients in ITC investigations related to antidumping and countervailing duties. Her expertise extends to developing estate, retirement, and gift planning strategies, as well as preparing advanced medical directives and durable powers of attorney.

Originally from China, Li earned her LL.B. from Soochow University in 2006 and her LL.M. from the University of Texas, Austin, in 2010. In China, she practiced at Hubei Kuanshan law firm, advising on foreign life insurance, family trusts, real estate, tax cost minimization, management succession, and asset conservation.

Li is fluent in English and Mandarin Chinese. She enjoys spending time with her two sons, Daniel and Kevin, as well as playing badminton, swimming, and traveling.

Li has been recognized as the 2019 FOA "Legal Advisor of the Year" and serves as an arbitrator and mediator for various committees, including the Beijing Arbitration Commission and the Shenzhen Pingshan Commercial Mediation Center.
