Marie Napoli

Marie Napoli has dedicated over three decades to practicing law, with expertise in handling intricate cases such as employment discrimination, civil rights, mass tort matters, personal injury, medical malpractice litigation, and pharmaceutical litigation. She obtained her J.D. from St. John’s University Law School, followed by an L.L.M. from NYU School of Law and another in Environmental Law from Lewis and Clark Law School. Her career includes work with the New York Appellate Division, 2nd Department, and she has taught CLE courses on Tort and Civil Procedure at St. John’s University School of Law.

As a founding partner, Marie has been instrumental in securing substantial verdicts and settlements across various practice areas. Notable achievements include the $1.3+ billion settlement in the New York Opioid Jury Trial, a significant jury verdict in the Ohio Opioid Trial, the $640 million Flint Water Crisis agreement, and the $1 billion World Trade Center litigation settlement. Her firm remains a leader in high-profile cases, such as antitrust generic drug litigation and Aqueous Film-Forming Foam water contamination cases, achieving a $1.185 billion agreement.

Marie has also been featured in several media outlets for her work on PFAS water pollution settlements, including a $956 million fee award reported by Reuters and Law360 in April 2024. Other media appearances include coverage of Tyco Fire Products' $750 million settlement with PFAS-impacted communities and a historic $12.5 billion settlement with 3M to address water supply contamination.
