Deborah Wolf Miller

Deborah Wolf Miller is a dedicated solo practitioner located in Ithaca, New York, who also continues her practice in New Jersey. Her expertise encompasses estate administration, estate planning, and real property transfers. Previously, she was a partner at Miller and Miller in Chenango County, served as staff counsel for the Chenango County Department of Social Services, and worked as an editor for Gann Law Books, a New Jersey legal treatise publisher.

Before relocating to New York in 1996, Deborah was an associate at Garrigle and Palm, a New Jersey firm specializing in insurance defense, including construction defect defense, products liability defense, insurance coverage, and professional malpractice defense. Following her graduation from law school, she served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Donald A. Smith, Jr. at the Superior Court of New Jersey - Civil Division and was a teaching assistant for a tax course at the University of International Business and Economics in Beijing, China.

Deborah graduated from the Rutgers University School of Law in Camden, NJ, in 1989, earning the American Jurisprudence Award for Real Estate Conveyancing. She was also a pupil of the American Inn of Court #111-The Camden Inn from 1990 to 1992. Currently, she is a member of the Tompkins County Bar Association, serves as CLE Chair of the Finger Lakes Women’s Bar Association, and is a member of the New York State Bar Association, participating in the Trusts & Estates and Elder Law Sections. Deborah is admitted to practice law in both New York and New Jersey.
