Michael Pinnisi

Michael Pinnisi is the Chief Legal Officer and Chief Operating Officer of the GoDigital Media Group, an international firm specializing in acquiring and licensing music and film catalogs. Prior to this role, he was a Partner at Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft LLP, where he managed both corporate and litigation cases. Before joining Cadwalader, he held the position of General Counsel and Chief Operating Officer at Hudson Executive Capital LP, working closely with Douglas Braunstein, Vice Chairman of Wells Fargo and former Vice Chairman of JPMorgan Chase.

Renowned as a "lawyer's lawyer," Mr. Pinnisi has provided counsel to attorneys recognized in "Best Lawyers in America" and "Super Lawyers." His previous legal roles include serving as an Honor Program Trial Attorney for the U.S. Department of Justice and as an Assistant U.S. Attorney in both the Southern District of New York and Washington, D.C. He also gained experience as an associate at Shearman & Sterling and Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton.

Mr. Pinnisi has served as in-house General Counsel for Kionix, Inc., and has shared his expertise as an Adjunct Professor of Law at Cornell Law School. An honor graduate of Cornell University and Cornell Law School, he is a frequent speaker at bar and business events and has been recognized for his commitment to ethical legal practice.
