Vince F. Sykes

Vince F. Sykes, a distinguished attorney in Jamaica, New York, began his career serving in the United States Air Force. During his active duty, he received several medals, including the Good Conduct Medal and the Overseas Tour of Duty. After his military service, Vince pursued higher education, earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from SUNY, Stony Brook, a Master's in Business Administration from Pepperdine University, and a Juris Doctorate Degree, Cum Laude, from Pace Law School.

Vince's professional journey led him to Silicon Valley, where he held engineering roles at renowned companies like Cisco Systems, Bay Networks, and Alcatel-Lucent, as well as various technology start-ups. Notably, he contributed to the development of AT&T’s 4G cellular network as part of the Alcatel-Lucent team.

Born in Washington, D.C., to diplomatic parents, Vince is a Ghanaian citizen who spent his formative years in cities such as Moscow, London, and Ghana. This multicultural upbringing influences his legal practice. Although engineering was his initial passion, Vince's interest shifted to criminal justice and civil rights upon moving to the United States.

Today, Vince leverages his legal expertise to address social injustices and disparities within the criminal justice system. As a dedicated advocate for victims in civil rights and personal injury cases, he is committed to challenging injustices and advocating fiercely for those who need it most.
