Amir Hassan Sadaghiani has been the Managing Partner of Ostrer & Sadaghiani, P.C. since April 2022. Before establishing the firm with his partner, Benjamin Ostrer, Amir was with Ostrer & Associates, P.C. from October 2014, advancing to Senior Associate in January 2021.
His legal career began in public service as an Assistant District Attorney for Orange County starting in December 2006. During his tenure, he prosecuted a wide range of cases, including murder, vehicular assault, and drug offenses. He played a pivotal role in the Special Investigations Unit, managing wiretaps, and was part of the Major Crimes On-Call Panel, responding to homicide scenes to aid initial investigations.
Amir is a member of the New York State Bar and is admitted to practice in the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. Raised in the Town of Deerpark, he is a 1999 graduate of Port Jervis High School. He earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics with a minor in American Politics from Bucknell University in 2003, where he held leadership roles, including Student Body President.
In 2006, Amir obtained his Juris Doctor from the University of Notre Dame Law School, serving as Student Body President and co-captain of the Moot Court Trial Team. He currently resides in the Town of Goshen.
