Michele Ellerin

Michele Ellerin earned her J.D. Degree from the University of Toledo College of Law in 1982, with additional coursework at Albany Law School. After gaining valuable experience as an associate at two New Jersey law firms, she founded her own practice in 1986, focusing primarily on matrimonial and family law.

Ms. Ellerin has been an active member of the legal community, particularly within the Orange County Bar Association (OCBA), where she has held various leadership roles including Secretary, Treasurer, Vice President, and President. For the past nineteen years, she has contributed to the organization's Board of Directors and participated in numerous committees as Chairperson or member.

Her professional affiliations are extensive, including membership in the American Bar Association since 2013, and long-term involvement with the Family Law Section of the New York State Bar Association, the Women's Bar Association of the State of New York, and the OCBA, all since 1987.

Ms. Ellerin has also held significant leadership positions such as President and Board member of the Women's Bar Association of the State of New York for five years, President of Orange County Legal Services, Inc., and Board Member of the Community Health Center of Middletown. Additionally, she served as Vice President and Board Member of the Sarah Wells Girl Scout Council for five years and was a Board Member at Temple Sinai in Middletown, NY, for three years.
