About Regina Fitzpatrick

Growing up in Queens, New York, Regina later attended high school in Ulster County. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Women’s Studies with honors from the State University of New York at Albany in 1994. Regina also taught 'Introduction to Feminism' at the university for two years.
Regina pursued her legal education at St. John’s University School of Law in Queens, where she was awarded the St. Thomas More Full Merit Scholarship, graduating in 1998. She is admitted to the New York State Bar.
Initially, Regina worked at a large firm in New York City and gained experience in sales. In 2002, she returned to Ulster County to be near her family, joining Larkin, Axelrod, Trachte & Tetenbaum, LLP, focusing on Matrimonial/Family Law and Criminal Defense. Two years later, she transitioned to Mainetti, Mainetti & O’Connor, where she developed her practice in Personal Injury Law, driven by a commitment to represent injured clients.
Regina is actively involved with the New York State Bar Association, the American Association for Justice, and the Ulster County Bar Association. She has successfully litigated numerous multi-million dollar settlements and verdicts. Outside of her legal practice, Regina enjoys spending time with her partner Effrain and their son Danny.
