Mr. Kevin Bunn

Kevin Bunn is a seasoned workers' compensation attorney committed to advocating for injured workers throughout North Carolina. A native of the state, Kevin graduated from Enloe High School in Raleigh. He earned his Bachelor of Arts from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1986, followed by a Master’s degree in Public Administration in 1989, where he was honored with the Robert House Fellowship. In 1993, he received his Juris Doctor from the UNC School of Law.

Kevin is a Board-Certified Specialist in Workers’ Compensation Law, a designation awarded by the North Carolina State Bar. He co-edited the authoritative resource, 'North Carolina Workers’ Compensation Law: A Practical Guide to Success at Every Stage of a Claim,' published by LexisNexis in collaboration with the North Carolina Advocates for Justice. Kevin frequently shares his expertise at continuing legal education classes focusing on workers’ compensation law.

Recognized as one of the Best Lawyers in America for Workers’ Compensation Law – Claimants, Kevin holds an esteemed “AV” rating from Martindell-Hubbell, reflecting his high standing among peers for legal acumen and professionalism. Additionally, he has achieved a perfect 10 “Superb” rating from AVVO. In 2018, he was inducted as a Fellow of the College of Workers’ Compensation Lawyers.

In his practice, Kevin Bunn regularly represents injured workers before the North Carolina Industrial Commission (NCIC). His practice encompasses a wide range of workplace injuries, including occupational diseases, back injuries, falls, and on-the-job automobile accidents, as well as injuries to the hip, leg, knee, ankle, foot, shoulder, arm, elbow, wrist, and hand.
