About Dana Andrew Lejune
Dana Andrew LeJune, born in Beaumont, Texas in 1956, comes from a Cajun, rice sharecropping heritage. After graduating from French High School in 1975, he pursued his undergraduate studies at the University of Texas at Austin, earning a B.A. in History in 1979. He briefly taught Government and History at his alma mater before embarking on his legal career.
Mr. LeJune attended the South Texas College of Law, where he published a maritime law article in the South Texas Law Journal in August 1982, and graduated with a J.D. in December 1982. He was admitted to the Texas Bar in May 1983 after passing the February 1983 exam. Initially working at a small civil litigation firm, he soon established his solo practice in late 1983.
From 1994 to March 2003, Mr. LeJune partnered with Jeffrey R. Singer in the firm LEJUNE & SINGER. Even after Mr. Singer relocated to Richmond, Texas, they continue to collaborate on cases and maintain a strong professional relationship.
Mr. LeJune holds an "AV" rating from Martindale-Hubbell, reflecting his esteemed standing in the legal community. He is admitted to practice in all Texas State Courts and all four Federal Districts of Texas. His federal court admissions extend nationwide, including the Western District of Tennessee, Western District of Michigan, District of Colorado, Eastern and Western Districts of Wisconsin, Northern District Court of Indiana, District of Nebraska, Eastern and Western Districts of Arkansas, the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court.
