Benjamin T. Cochran

Benjamin T. Cochran serves as the managing partner at Hardison & Cochran Attorneys at Law in Burlington, North Carolina. He is dedicated to representing clients in workers’ compensation and personal injury law cases.

A native of North Carolina, Cochran's aspiration to become an attorney began during his high school years in High Point. He pursued his education at the University of North Carolina, earning a B.A. degree in economics and African-American studies in 1999. Following his undergraduate studies, Cochran attended the Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law at Campbell University.

While still a law student, Cochran began working part-time at the very law firm he now manages. By his third year, he was already engaging in trial work and, after obtaining his J.D. and passing the bar in 2002, he joined the firm as a licensed attorney.

Initially, Cochran dedicated the first eight years of his career exclusively to workers’ compensation law. He further honed his expertise by obtaining additional training and was recognized as a Board Certified Specialist in Workers’ Compensation by the North Carolina State Bar. In recent years, he has broadened his practice to include personal injury cases, although workers’ compensation remains his primary area of focus.
