Education & Early Career
Jeff grew up in southwestern Ohio and obtained his undergraduate degree from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, majoring in Decision Sciences. He initially embarked on a career in database marketing, later transitioning into software and data management consulting. His consulting work took him across North America, collaborating with major companies such as Ralph Lauren, General Motors, FedEx, and 3M. This experience honed Jeff’s ability to analyze complex systems and manage extensive data sets, skills that he seamlessly applies to his legal practice.

Driven by a desire to serve individuals directly, Jeff pursued a legal education at the University of North Carolina School of Law.

Workers’ Compensation Practice
Upon graduating, Jeff began his career as a plaintiff-side workers’ compensation attorney, advocating for employees with serious workplace injuries. Early in his legal journey, he achieved the highest settlement in his firm’s history, earning him a place in the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, an honor for attorneys securing seven-figure results.

Jeff expanded his experience at a nationally recognized defense firm, gaining valuable insights into how employers and insurers approach claims. This knowledge enhances his ability to anticipate defenses and construct robust cases for injured workers. In October 2025, he joined Taylor | Serbin Injury Lawyers, where he focuses exclusively on workers’ compensation cases.
