Lynn Ann Montgomery

Lynn Ann Montgomery grew up in Zelienople, Pennsylvania, where she was actively involved in her high school's marching band, SVTV, Thespians, and Honor Society. She graduated with honors from Seneca Valley High School and pursued her undergraduate studies at the University of Pittsburgh, majoring in English Literature, psychology, and theatre arts. During her time there, she was a founding board member of Alpha Phi Omega (Beta Chapter) and graduated Magna Cum Laude in 1991.

Lynn received a scholarship from Geneva College and after a few years of teaching, she attended North Carolina Central University Law School in the Evening Program while working full-time. Despite the demanding schedule, she graduated Summa Cum Laude, leading her class. Transitioning to a full-time legal career in 2006, she initially practiced civil litigation and family law.

Since then, Lynn has focused exclusively on Family Law and Adoptions. She is a recognized NC Board Certified Specialist in Family Law and holds certifications as a Superior Court Civil Mediator and a Family Financial Mediator. In May 2015, she married Scott Montgomery and joined Montgomery Family Law in July 2015.

Her personal experience with divorce enables her to empathetically guide clients through challenging times, offering support and expertise to navigate the complexities of family law.
