Kimberly H. Whitley

Kimberly H. Whitley, a distinguished Managing Partner, excels in Business and Corporate Law, Estate Planning and Administration, and Elder and Special Needs Law. As a Board Certified Specialist in Estate Planning and Probate Law, she brings significant expertise to her practice.

Ms. Whitley earned her undergraduate degree (B.A., 1990) with Honors and Distinction, and her law degree (J.D., 1993) with High Honors from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Her academic achievements include being a John M. Morehead Scholar, National Merit Scholar, and a member of Phi Beta Kappa. During her time in law school, she contributed to the North Carolina Law Review as a Staff Member (1991 – 1992) and served as Notes and Comments Editor (1992 – 1993). She was also inducted into the Order of the Coif.

After law school, Ms. Whitley served as a law clerk for The Honorable Judge Clyde H. Hamilton at the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit. Her dedication to community service is evident through her 2009 appointment by the Catawba County Commissioners to the Aging Leadership Planning Team, focusing on enhancing the county's senior-friendly environment.

Kimberly resides in Hickory with her husband, David, and their son, Colson.
