Justin P Nichols

Justin Nichols is a dedicated attorney practicing in the areas of family law, personal injury, and criminal law throughout Chatham, Orange, Durham, and Wake Counties. Since joining Averett Family Law in 2012, Justin has brought his expertise from prior experiences in personal injury defense, workers’ compensation, and complex construction litigation to his current practice.

Justin is well-versed in courtroom litigation and adept at negotiating out-of-court settlements for his clients. His practice includes appearances before state administrative agencies, state superior and district courts, the North Carolina Court of Appeals, and the federal district court.

A graduate of Campbell University School of Law in Raleigh, North Carolina, where he graduated cum laude, Justin also holds a B.A. in Legal Studies from the State University of New York. He is admitted to practice in the North Carolina state courts and the federal District Court for the Eastern District of North Carolina.

Justin is an active member of the District 15B Bar Association and the North Carolina Bar Association, further demonstrating his commitment to the legal community.
