About Lynn Norton-Ramirez
Lynn Norton-Ramirez has been practicing law since 1987, beginning her career in Los Angeles, California. She also lectured at attorney training seminars on juvenile mitigation and fitness, and taught a felony trial series for new felony lawyers.
After relocating to North Carolina, Lynn worked as an Assistant District Attorney for Durham County, prosecuting both misdemeanors and serious felony cases. Since November 2008, she has been in private practice, representing clients in criminal and traffic matters across Orange, Durham, Chatham, and Wake counties. Her notable case, Packingham v. North Carolina, was argued before the United States Supreme Court in 2017, where the court agreed with her argument that a North Carolina law unconstitutionally infringed on her client's First Amendment rights.
