Jeff Thompson

Jeff Thompson, originally from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, began his academic journey at Fort Lauderdale Christian School, graduating with honors. He was accepted into the Honors Program at the University of Georgia, where he earned his undergraduate degree in Political Science. He continued his education at the University of Georgia School of Law, serving as an officer in the Demosthenian Society, honing his skills in oral argument and debate.

Before moving to North Carolina, Mr. Thompson practiced in both Georgia and Florida, handling a diverse range of litigation areas, including personal injury, wrongful death, and admiralty and maritime litigation. Since his relocation to Charlotte in 1995, he has dedicated his practice to criminal litigation, representing clients charged with DWI/DUI, felonies, and misdemeanors across Mecklenburg, Cabarrus, Union, Catawba, Gaston, Iredell, Lincoln, and Stanly counties.

Outside of his legal career, Jeff is actively involved in sports, participating in golf and tennis tournaments. He is also committed to mentoring youth through tennis and his involvement with the Special Olympics.

Mr. Thompson is a member in good standing of the North Carolina State Bar, the Georgia State Bar, and the Florida State Bar, and is admitted to practice in the Southern District of Florida Federal Bar.

Jeff resides in Concord, North Carolina, with his wife Bobbie and their daughter.
