About Larry Serbin
Larry Serbin has built a distinguished legal career marked by intellectual curiosity and a diverse professional background. Raised in central Pennsylvania, he began his academic pursuits at Ohio University and initially worked in web development and the trucking industry. His journey took a significant turn when he pursued a Master’s degree in Management from the University of Denver’s Daniels School of Business, where he honed strategic and operational skills that are pivotal in his legal practice.
Feeling a strong inclination towards law, Larry attended Capital University Law School in Columbus, Ohio. His legal acumen was evident early on as he won the first-year Moot Court Competition and contributed to both the Capital Law Review and Moot Court Board. During his studies, he gained practical experience in workers’ compensation, personal injury, and Social Security disability cases, which solidified his client-focused approach.
After passing the North Carolina Bar Exam, Larry co-founded a firm dedicated to Social Security disability claims, which evolved into Bridgman & Serbin in 2009. The firm quickly gained recognition across the Carolinas for its commitment to disability claimants. In 2014, Larry joined The Law Offices of Jason E. Taylor, now known as Taylor | Serbin Injury Lawyers, bringing extensive litigation expertise and a disciplined advocacy style.
Assuming the role of Managing Partner in 2015, Larry managed both the legal and operational facets of the firm. In 2019, he chose to focus entirely on practicing law, dedicating himself to complex personal injury and consumer protection cases. As a Partner, Larry is known for his meticulous preparation and effective representation in disputes where facts and liability are contested.
