Dylan Greenwood

Dylan Greenwood was born and raised in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, where he actively participated in the community as an Eagle Scout and graduated from R.J. Reynolds High School. He pursued higher education at Virginia Tech, earning dual degrees with honors in Political Science and Economics. As a proud Hokie, he was also nominated for the prestigious Rhodes Scholarship.

Returning to North Carolina, Dylan attended law school at Wake Forest University. There, he served as the Symposium Editor for the Journal of Law and Policy and was inducted into the Order of the Barristers for his outstanding courtroom advocacy during his participation in the ABA National Appellate Advocacy and National Moot Court teams.

As the founder and managing partner of Greenwood Law, Dylan practices criminal defense law in both state and federal courts. His law firm, located in Winston-Salem, provides comprehensive legal defense to clients throughout North Carolina. Dylan handles a wide range of criminal defense cases, including DUI/DWI defense, white collar crimes, drug possession, gun violations, criminal appeals, murder, expungements, and traffic violations.

Dylan emphasizes the importance of consulting a knowledgeable defense lawyer before making any statements to police or prosecutors, as even seemingly harmless statements can have significant repercussions. He offers guidance through the criminal justice system and serves as a strong advocate in negotiations or at trial, depending on the case circumstances.

Outside of his legal practice, Dylan enjoys spending time with his son, family, and friends. He is passionate about traveling the world, playing golf, and giving back to the community that has enriched his life.
