Daniel Deuterman

Daniel Deuterman is a distinguished attorney in Greensboro, North Carolina, with a focus on Workers' Compensation Law. He is one of the few Board Certified Specialists in this field practicing in the state. Daniel has secured some of the highest settlements for workers' compensation cases in North Carolina and is a member of the prestigious Million Dollar Advocates Forum.

Daniel founded the Deuterman Law Group in 2003, driven by a commitment to justice for injured workers. His dedication extends beyond the courtroom, as he actively participates in community service and supports numerous charities and organizations through volunteer work and financial contributions. Together with his wife, Dawne, he endows a scholarship at the UNC School of Law.

Politically engaged, Daniel founded Protect N.C. Workers, a grassroots organization dedicated to advocating for the rights of injured individuals. His academic journey began at UNC-Chapel Hill, where he earned his undergraduate degree in 1987, followed by a J.D. from the UNC School of Law. He was admitted to the N.C. State Bar in 1991 and the Bar of the U.S. Supreme Court in 2005.

Daniel's leadership roles include positions with the N.C. Bar Association, and he is an active member of the N.C. Advocates for Justice, the Workers’ Injury Law and Advocacy Group, the Greensboro Bar Association, and the Guilford Inn of Court. In 2011, he received the Ebbie Award from the NCAJ for his exceptional service and dedication to the organization's mission. That same year, he was honored by the workers’ compensation section of the NCAJ for his extraordinary contributions to preserving justice for injured workers in North Carolina.
