Robert D. Rouse III

Robert D. Rouse III, affectionately known as "Robin," has been a steadfast advocate for the residents of Eastern North Carolina since 1973. His practice focuses on personal injury cases, including those involving automobile, motorcycle, bus, tractor trailer, and logging truck accidents that result in severe or fatal injuries. Robin is also proficient in managing punitive damage claims against drivers who are drunk or grossly negligent.

In addition to his personal injury work, Robin frequently represents clients in disputes with large insurance companies over denied claims related to fire losses, death benefits, medical care, and faulty construction. He also addresses issues involving unfair and deceptive trade practices. As a Certified Superior Court Mediator, Robin offers mediation services to facilitate dispute resolution.

Robin's academic journey began at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he earned his undergraduate degree. During his time there, he was active in Sigma Nu fraternity and various campus organizations, including the Attorney General’s Staff and the Honor System Commission. He was also inducted into the Order of the Old Well. Robin served in the United States Army Reserve from 1969 to 1975, further enriching his background.

In 1973, Robin obtained his J.D. from the University of North Carolina School of Law and started his legal career in eastern North Carolina. Initially engaged in general practice, he quickly discovered his passion for aiding those injured and shifted his focus to personal injury and insurance claims. To better serve his community, Robin founded the Law Offices of Robert D. Rouse III in 2005, with locations in Pitt County and Carteret County.
