Henry Samuel Morphis

Henry Samuel Morphis began his professional journey in the furniture industry, where he gained nearly nine years of experience. During this period, he advanced through roles such as staff engineer, plant manager, and head of engineering. His final position in the industry involved serving on a Steering Committee for a corporation with over 250 employees. In this capacity, he managed the IT Department, Product Development Department, and led initiatives for continuous efficiency improvement.

In 2003, Henry decided to pursue a new career path in law. By 2006, he had joined Young, Morphis, Bach & Taylor, LLP, where he continues to practice. Henry and his wife, Lisa, reside in Hickory, North Carolina, with their children. They are active participants in the First United Methodist Church community.

Outside of his professional commitments, Henry enjoys gardening, canoeing, hiking, and serves as a Tiger Cub den leader, reflecting his dedication to both family and community activities.
