Chad Brown

Chad Brown has been with Partin, Patton & Brown since July 2004, achieving partnership in January 2009. His legal focus is on Social Security Disability and personal injury cases, and he is recognized as a North Carolina Board Certified Specialist in Social Security Disability Law.

Chad is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Law (1999), where he served as Articles and Notes Editor for the North Carolina Banking Law Institute and Journal. His early career included clerking for the Honorable Robert F. Orr on the N.C. Supreme Court and serving as an Assistant District Attorney in Judicial Districts 6B and 23.

Before joining his current firm, Chad was an associate at Vannoy, Colvard, Triplett & Vannoy in North Wilkesboro, N.C., focusing on general and personal injury litigation and criminal defense. He holds memberships in the North Carolina State Bar, North Carolina Bar Association, National Organization of Social Security Claimant's Representatives (NOSSCR), and the North Carolina Advocates for Justice.

Chad is licensed to practice before the North Carolina Supreme Court and the Western and Middle Federal Judicial Districts. Outside of his legal practice, he enjoys spending time with his wife and four children, fly fishing, coaching little league baseball, and participating in church activities.
