Kelsey Arnold Krapp

Kelsey Arnold Krapp, affectionately known as 'Lou', grew up on his family's farm and bison ranch near Pingree, North Dakota. After completing his education at Pingree-Buchanan High School, he pursued both his undergraduate and law degrees at the University of North Dakota.

Following law school, Kelsey began his legal career as an associate attorney at a private litigation firm in Bismarck, focusing on defending personal injury and property damage cases. His legal expertise expanded as he served as a Special Assistant Attorney General for the North Dakota Public Service Commission, handling various regulatory issues.

In 2016, Kelsey returned to the Jamestown area to establish James Valley Law, PLLC. Beyond his legal practice, he operates a bison ranch, a hunting business, and a custom-exempt butcher shop near Pingree, North Dakota. His diverse experiences in government roles, including positions with the U.S. Senate and the North Dakota Public Service Commission during his college and law school years, provide him with valuable insights to assist his clients effectively.

Kelsey's wife, Emily Schlosser, hails from the James Valley region as well, having grown up on a farm near Edgeley, North Dakota. She works as an occupational therapist at the Anne Carlson Center in Jamestown. Together, they have a son named Leo. The Krapp family enjoys traveling, fishing, hunting, and skiing with friends and family in their free time.
