Michael J. Wartko

Michael J. Wartko was born and raised in Northeast Ohio, where he completed his high school education at Archbishop Hoban in Akron. He pursued a degree in political science at the University of Mount Union in Alliance, Ohio, actively participating in the mock trial program and serving on the executive council of the Beta Iota chapter of Sigma Nu fraternity.

Following his graduation, Mr. Wartko attended Western Michigan University's Thomas M. Cooley Law School. During his time there, he interned with a family law firm, sparking his interest in the field of family law. Post-law school, he completed an externship at the Canton Law Department, concentrating on criminal prosecution.

In 2010, after successfully passing the Ohio bar exam, Mr. Wartko began his career in private practice. He initially managed a diverse range of litigation matters, including criminal defense, landlord/tenant law, family law, juvenile law, and civil disputes. Over the years, he has honed his focus on family and injury law.
