Neil Klingshirn

Neil Klingshirn is a highly regarded AV rated Super Lawyer and a Board Certified Employment Law Specialist with a distinguished career in employment and business law. Based in Akron, Ohio, Neil has been representing individuals and companies in complex disputes for more than three decades.

Neil's legal journey began at Squire, Sanders & Dempsey in Cleveland in 1986. He later established his own practice in 1993, where he focused on employment law until 2016, when he joined Elfvin, Klingshirn, Royer & Torch, LLC. His extensive knowledge and experience are invaluable to those he represents, helping them navigate legal challenges effectively.

Growing up on a Lake Erie winery instilled in Neil the values of hard work and dedication, which he applies in his legal practice throughout Northeast Ohio. He has a strong track record of preventing legal issues from escalating and resolving them efficiently if they arise.

Neil is admitted to practice in all Ohio state and federal courts. He approaches litigation strategically, treating it as an investment for his clients, aiming for favorable outcomes. Although he has not had to appeal an adverse decision for many years, he maintains his appellate skills by writing amicus briefs for the Ohio Supreme Court.
