Rhys J. Richards

Rhys J. Richards developed an early interest in civil rights attending a march at Music Hall on Martin Luther King, Jr. Day with his Aunt Megan, who later became his law practice partner. During his time at Bowling Green State University, where he majored in English and History and minored in Africana Studies, Rhys considered a career in academia or law. His internship at a Southwestern Ohio injury law firm solidified his passion for advocating civil legal rights and providing access to justice.

In 2007, Rhys began his legal career, focusing on Personal Injury Law, Negligence Law, Employer Intentional Torts, Employer Violations of Specific Safety Requirements, and Products Liability. He emphasizes a personalized approach, leveraging his expertise and identifying the right experts for each case. Rhys is dedicated to achieving the best outcomes for his clients by listening to their concerns and clearly communicating the legal process.

In April 2000, Rhys established The Richards Firm in downtown Hamilton, Ohio, with the mission of offering a trusted, local personal injury counsel. Raised in Butler County, Rhys brings a personal touch to his practice, informed by his upbringing near Ross, Ohio.

Beyond his legal work, Rhys has been involved in his community as a youth hockey coach with the Northern Kentucky Youth Hockey Association and has served on various local boards. He resides near Cincinnati, continuing to contribute to his community both professionally and personally.
