Celia Weingartner

Celia Klug Weingartner is a seasoned attorney focusing her practice on dependency, custody, criminal corporate, wills and estates, and probate matters. She serves clients primarily in Hamilton, Butler, and Clermont Counties. Raised in Cincinnati, Ohio, Celia graduated from Wyoming High School and pursued higher education at DePauw University, earning a degree in Sociology and Education Studies. She furthered her legal education at the University of Cincinnati College of Law, where she was actively involved as a fellow with the Ohio Innocence Project, managing over 40 cases of inmates asserting actual innocence.

Celia's legal experience is enriched by her work with Treleven and Klingensmith Law, the Hamilton County Public Defender’s Office, and Legal Aid. She also contributed her time as a volunteer with the Hamilton County Youth Court. In 2020, she argued before the Ohio Supreme Court in the case of In Re: A.M., serving as the Guardian ad litem for the child involved.

Celia's achievements include being named a Super Lawyers Rising Star in 2021 and 2023. Her commitment to justice has been recognized with the Lois Rosenthal Award from the Ohio Innocence Project, the Vera May Farber Award, and the Order of Omega.

Residing in West Chester, OH, Celia actively participates in her community. She is a member of the Ohio Bar Association, the Cincinnati Bar Association, and the Butler County Bar Association. Her leadership extends to serving on the Ohio Innocence Project’s Young Professionals Committee, the DePauw University Regional Alumni Association board, and the EDGE Teen Center board in Butler County. Additionally, she contributes to the Oxford Community Foundation Grants Committee.
