After college, he embarked on a career as a Commercial Banker in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. During his time there, he and Pilar married in Cebu City, Philippines.
Returning to the U.S., Mr. Pettys pursued a legal career, attending Capital University Law School in Columbus, Ohio, and graduating in May 1993. He immediately established his own law practice, bringing over two decades of legal experience.
