Rebecca L. Skeeles

Rebecca L. Skeeles is a dedicated counsel and business consultant with a focus on business law, real estate, construction, contracts, mergers, sales and acquisitions of businesses, estate planning, and equine law. Her extensive experience includes litigation, contracts, transactions, and negotiations. As a certified mediator with the Ohio Supreme Court and Harvard Law, she offers a well-rounded legal perspective.

Rebecca's unique insight stems from her nearly 30 years of experience in the construction industry, where she helped establish and operate a family business. She understands the complexities business owners face, from launching a company to its growth. Clients appreciate her direct communication, honesty, and strong work ethic, along with her practical approach to evaluating legal investments.

Rebecca often serves as general counsel, aiming to prevent legal issues before they arise. She co-founded Skeeles Manufacturing Inc. in 1991, a construction firm specializing in custom countertops and retail fixtures, serving as Vice President until its sale in 2020. During this time, she earned her degree from Capital University Law School, attending classes at night.

From 2013 to 2021, Rebecca worked as a professional public speaker for Casemaker, presenting to state bar associations, law firms, government organizations, and law schools across the nation. Her previous role at the Ohio State Bar Association (OSBA) from 2008 to 2013 involved promoting OSBA services, including Casemaker and In-House CLE programs, to the Ohio legal community.
