Edward F. Whipps

Edward F. Whipps established Edward F. Whipps & Associates in 1992 after more than three decades as a partner in significant law firms, such as the international firm Thompson, Hine & Flory. Mr. Whipps is well-regarded for his proficiency in matrimonial law and has made substantial contributions as a leader in both the bar and the community.

His leadership roles include serving as President of the Ohio Board of Psychology, the Upper Arlington Board of Education, the Upper Arlington Chamber of Commerce, Creative Living, Inc., and Unverferth House. Additionally, he held the position of National Vice President for Delta Tau Delta fraternity.

Mr. Whipps has chaired numerous committees within the Columbus Bar Association and the Franklin County Trial Lawyers Association. He has also hosted various television programs, including Upper Arlington Plain Talk, U.A. Today, Bridging Disability, Lawyers on Call, and The Ohio Wesleyan Background.

Recognized in Who’s Who in America and as a Preeminent Lawyer in the Family Law Section of the Martindale-Hubbell® Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers, Mr. Whipps continues to uphold a standard of excellence in his field.
