Robert John Gargasz

Robert John Gargasz has dedicated his career to advocating for his clients in Elyria, Ohio, since 1983. A graduate of Lorain Catholic High School in 1977, Robert pursued his undergraduate education at the University of Toledo, earning a degree in Business Administration with a major in Human Resources Management in 1980. He then achieved his Juris Doctor from Ohio Northern University, Claude W. Pettit College of Law in 1982.

From 2000 to 2005, Robert served as Litigation Counsel for the Lorain Port Authority, offering legal guidance to the Executive Director, Board, and Staff. As of 1991, he has been the President and Counsel at Law for his own practice in Lorain, Ohio. His prior roles include serving as Civil Assistant to the Law Director of the City of Lorain from 1992 to 1999, and as an Attorney at Law with Warhola, O’Toole, Loughman, Alderman and Stumphauzer from 1988 to 1991.

Robert is actively involved in several organizations, including the Ohio Gun Owners and the National Rifle Association. He is a past president of the Polish Fisherman’s Club and a member of the Kipton Sportsman Club. Additionally, he volunteers as legal counsel for the Black River Conservation Association, Inc., Lorain Youth Baseball, and the Volunteer Guardian Program. His practice areas encompass personal injury, trial discovery, insurance defense, and commercial litigation.
