Elizabeth Kamm Abdnour

Elizabeth Kamm Abdnour serves as a counsel and partner at Abdnour Weiker LLP, where she is committed to promoting fairness and equality in both schools and workplaces. Her legal practice focuses on special education, school discipline, Title IX, civil interests, disability, employment, and sexual and domestic violence. With a compassionate and client-centered approach, Elizabeth has dedicated her career to achieving justice for all individuals.

In the first eight years of her career, Elizabeth worked as a judicial services attorney, providing representation to low-income individuals in various civil legal matters. She further honed her expertise as a supervising attorney at a domestic violence and protection order clinic, a joint initiative between a legal aid organization and a law school.

Elizabeth transitioned to an administrative role as an institutional equity coordinator and senior investigator at Michigan State University. There, she conducted investigations and delivered training on civil rights and Title IX issues to the campus community. Her tenure at the university coincided with the Larry Nassar investigation, providing her with unique insights into educational institutions' civil rights obligations.

In 2018, Elizabeth established her own solo practice, Elizabeth Abdnour Law, PLLC, advocating for individuals harmed in educational and workplace environments. By 2023, she joined Abdnour Weiker LLP as a partner, representing students, educators, and workers across Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and beyond.

Elizabeth also collaborates with Title IX Solutions as an investigator, party advisor, consultant, and trainer, leveraging her extensive experience to support civil rights and Title IX compliance.
