Scott Douglas Kruger

Scott Douglas Kruger was born and raised in Hamilton, Ohio, graduating as Valedictorian from Hamilton High School in 1997. He attended The Ohio State University, earning Cum Laude honors in 2001 through the Honors Program.

While pursuing his legal education at Northern Kentucky University Chase College of Law, Scott gained practical experience as a Youth Corrections Officer at the Butler County Juvenile Detention Center and as a law clerk for a prominent personal injury firm in Cincinnati, Ohio. He graduated in 2005 and honed his trial skills at the Hamilton County Public Defender’s Office before transitioning to private practice.

Scott began his private practice in Hamilton, Ohio, in 2008 after successfully winning his first jury trial. Over the past decade, he has expanded his practice to encompass both criminal defense and personal injury law. Scott has adeptly handled numerous criminal cases, including serious felonies such as Aggravated Burglary, Gross Sexual Imposition, and Kidnapping, as well as Theft, Domestic Violence, OVI/DUI, Voyeurism, and Assault. In the realm of personal injury, he has secured significant settlements for clients involved in automobile accidents and wrongful death claims.

Beyond his legal career, Scott is passionate about sports and is a dedicated practitioner of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, achieving the rank of purple belt and earning Bronze in international competitions. Committed to community service, Scott serves on the boards of the Hamilton City School District and the Hamilton Community Foundation, and is an active member of the Hamilton Rotary Club. He also chairs the Notary Commission of the Butler County Bar Association and volunteers with Hand Me Down Dobes, Inc., a Doberman Pinscher rescue group.

Scott resides in Hamilton with his wife, Tara, and their three dogs, continuing to support and engage with his local community.
